Sign language has always been a part of our lives. From quick signs across the grocery store, to meaningful conversations with Deaf family members and friends, signing is a part of who we are.
We are proof of how basic signing knowledge can transform parenthood.
We understand how frustrating it can be when your pre-verbal baby or toddler, or nonverbal child or adolescent is trying to communicate but can’t. The screaming, meltdowns, tears, and anger that are a result of not knowing what you child wants impacts your child and those around them.
We get it, we’ve been there.
We also know that your time is precious. From juggling after-school activities, your busy career and making sure dinner is ready, it is hard to imagine having the time to learn a completely new language.
