Express Love With ASL

There are many facial expressions that can show love! Some of the most common ones include a gentle smile, a warm gaze, a soft touch on the arm or face, and a gentle embrace. Other signs of love might include a tender kiss, a gentle caress of the hair, or a loving look in the eyes. All of these expressions can be used to show love and affection in a non-verbal way.

Sign language is a great way to express your love for someone! One way you can show your love is by signing "I love you" with an open hand. To do this, start by making a fist with your dominant hand and extending your pinky finger. Place your extended pinky finger on the side of your chin and then move it down towards your heart. This is the sign for "I love you". You can also sign "love" by extending your thumb, index finger, and pinky finger.

If you want to be even more creative, you could spell out "love" in sign language. To do this, start by making the sign for "L" by extending your thumb and index finger. Then make the sign for "O" by making a circle with your index finger and thumb. Next, make the sign for "V" by bringing your index and middle fingers together in the shape of a V. Finally, make the sign for "E" by extending your thumb, index finger, and middle finger. This spell out the word "love".

Happy Valentines Day!
